I'd describe my personality as patient, kind, and thoughtful. I respect and support children while holding clear boundaries. I like working with kids because they are a joy! It's important to nurture the next generation of leaders that will shape our world. I'm looking for a job with a family that appreciates a mindful approach to childcare with an emphasis on spending time outdoors, creative play, and learning through adventures. I am familiar with many fun areas to explore around Pittsburgh and the northern suburbs. I started working with kids when I was a teenager as a babysitter, camp counselor, and older sister, and have worked as a nanny for over 14 years. I have supported many growing families as a long-term caregiver until their youngest child no longer needed care. In my spare time, I like to garden, hike with my amazing teen and our friendly dog, and take part in yoga and Zumba classes. I am committed to supporting kids' development emotionally, mentally, and physically.
