Hi, my name is Felicia and I have been in the home health field for 24years. I have extensive experience in caring for patients with conditions such as Alzheimers, Stroke, Cancer, Parkinson's disease and more. I am trained and able to handle all sorts of care situations including ambulatory and non ambulatory care, G and GJ tube feeding and care, medication management, transporting to and from appointments, meal prep, taking care of the home (including cleaning). I take my role as a caregiver very seriously; I am dedicated to my patients and their families. I want to provide the care that is needed and desired and do so kindly, efficiently and consistently. I thoroughly enjoy becoming a part of my patients lives. I am young enough to handle the most rigorous aspects of caregiving, but old enough to have the wisdom and compassion that this job demands. Felicia is truly a treasure! She is very knowledgeable on overall health and senior care. She always has the best interest of her clients at heart, very dedicated, extremely reliable. She regularly goes above and beyond to satisfy the needs of the patient/family. I can't imagine juggling all the responsibilities of this job, given that she cares for a senior couple who are both on home hospice and require significant care. Specifically, she confidently focuses on their care including and not limited to bathing, medication, meal prep (great cook), laundry, organization of appointments, errands, supplies, communicating with hospice nurses, keeping the areas they occupy clean and sanitary, companionship, and the list goes on. She has worked this job for approx. 8 months. Felicia has a lot on her plate, and has always adjusted her schedule to fit our needs WE LOVE YOU AND WE THANK YOU FELICIA!!
