I'm a blessed mother of 3 wonderful grown-up kids. I am positive, energetic & fun - loving caregiver. I have 10 + years of experience with different cases like patients dealing with dementia, Parkinson's, cancer, hip injury, stroke & merely being a companion. I am passionate in my job of helping people especially the elderly because as a Filipino, it is our culture to take care of our loved ones - grandmas & grandpas. So caregiving job is already a big part of us.

Filipina is a superb caregiver in so many ways. Her abilities, kindness, work ethic and resilience make her the person you hope for when the need for a care giver enters your family life.

Faye was an extraordinary caregiver during an incredibly difficult time for our family. In the final months of my mother’s life, she provided compassionate, patient care for my mom and meaningful emotional support for my father. She navigated an emotionally heavy and unusual situation with grace, kindness, and calm, bringing comfort to our entire family. We are deeply grateful for the dignity, warmth, and care she showed during this chapter of our lives.

Filipina was the caregiver of a dear friend, D, who has gone home to be with the Lord. Before she passed, D was too weak to write this, so I asked her to share her thoughts about Filipina with me, and I also shared some of my observations with D and have added the ones that she approved.

Filipina was the best possible caregiver and friend to D. D was a very private person, so the fact that she allowed Filipina into the details of her day to day life and completely trusted Filipina with her care speaks volumes. D was fiercely independent but allowed Filipina to do more for her than she, at times, allowed her family and friends to do. Filipina’s dedication to D and her comfort was a beautiful thing to see. She really got to know D and could anticipate her needs and was willing to do whatever was needed for D. She went above and beyond in her care. Filipina really became one of the family.

D’s care was very different from most other clients that most caregivers have in that she was not elderly and her condition was changing all the time, and Filipina was able to rise to the challenge with purpose, grace, compassion and a sense of lightheartedness at appropriate times. Filipina helped D through some difficult crises until the rest of us could be there to help D also.

Filipina extended her care to the rest of us too. The main example of this is that she cleaned up, organized and managed D’s belongings after her death so that we didn’t have to. This was a huge burden lifted off of our shoulders as D was in a city that was not her home for the last part of her treatment, so we didn’t have the usual resources we would have had if she was in her own city.

We couldn’t have asked for more in a caregiver! She is a true treasure!

Faye is a true blessing! She helped to take care of my sister during a very critical time in her life. Faye is caring, dependable, professional and trustworthy! She became a part of our family during her time with us and we are forever indebted to her and connected to her. She has changed our lives in the most positive way and for the better. Don’t hesitate, call her!

I was so grateful when Faye responded to my inquiry for a caregiver for my mom this week. Even just speaking with her over the phone, I could tell she was warm and sincere. From the moment she arrived, she jumped right in—there was barely any need for guidance. She quickly got the hang of my mom’s routine, handling everything from personal care and meals to tracking her vitals and guiding her through daily exercises. 
Faye was an incredible support, and we’re truly thankful for everything she did. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend her to any family in need of a caring, dependable, and experienced caregiver.

Faye worked in my cousin's home as a live-in caregiver for his mother, my aunt. She was responsible for her daily personal needs and administered her medication. My aunt was always very clean, dressed, and groomed every day. My aunt was very elderly, and Faye would engage her in conversation and outside interests throughout the day and evening. Faye displayed a patient, kind, and gentle approach to enable my aunt, as best she could, to participate in her daily life and activities. Faye cooked and prepared all meals for my aunt and, at times, would have to assist her. She was responsible for my aunt's laundry and light housekeeping. I became very familiar with Faye as I visited my aunt on a regular basis. She was there with open arms and welcoming smile. She made all of the visitors feel very comfortable. While visiting with my aunt, she would always inform me how kind and wonderful Faye was, and all she did for her.  Other family members and friends would also comment to me what a great caregiver Faye was. We are grateful Faye was able to care for my aunt. Faye was dependable, honest, and trustworthy with strong family values. She was also kind and loving with a warm and gentle approach making for the perfect caregiver. She understands how important it is to have someone you can trust, not only in your home, but with a loved one. She will treat you as she would treat a member of her own family.

I placed an ad on care.com for a full time live-in to help with my elderly mother who came to live with me in April 2024 when she could no longer live alone in her own home independently. Faye answered the ad, won us over, and moved in the day my mom arrived at my house. Faye quickly overcame my mom's initial hesitation to depend so completely on someone she had just met and the two quickly began to form a bond that would only strengthen over time. I also learned to trust Faye implicitly. Faye did everything for my mom from preparing meals, attending to her personal hygiene, and providing an emotional support for her. Having Faye in the house also allowed me to continue to work while knowing that my mom was in safe hands. I also came to depend on Faye to act as a liaison between my household and every sort of medical and therapy professional as Faye had the most insightful and current evaluation of my mom and could communicate her ongoing condition as it evolved.  As my mom had weekly visits from friends and family, Faye met them all and quickly became a member of the family herself and was welcomed by all who met her. Sadly, my mom had to be hospitalized in late September and passed away in hospice care in early October. Faye was with her every day in hospital up until the end and provided a loving and safe presence for my mom who was scared and confused by what was happening to her.  Even at the funeral, Faye was embraced as one of the family by all who had come to know her in the 6 months she lived with us and cared for my mom. Faye came as a blessing to my mom and me and provided my mom with love, kindness, and caring throughout the last months of her life. I will always be grateful for the time we had together.

Faye is a wonderful worker. She took good care of my hospice partner making him very comfortable & attending to all his needs until he passed away. I am so happy & grateful for all she has done. I hope a lot of families will hire her.

Faye took care of my mother in the last year of her life.  Faye was so capable and caring - and was always willing to go above and beyond to help my mom.  My mom was loved having Faye as a caregiver and companion.
