About Fortune

Fortune is an exemplary caregiver, assistant, and person. My mother, 67F and I, 23F, engaged her services nearly every day for three weeks while our usual caregiver was out-of-town on vacation. She was relentlessly helpful, tidy, and respectful to both us and our animals. We have a Great Dane and an African Grey parrot and she got on splendidly with both, adjusting quickly to their feeding and care schedules and even sunbathing with my dog, which he loves and I’m presently unable to do. She assisted us capably with all our daily and incidental care tasks, driving me, our mobility aids, and even with my dog to the vet safely in my car without incident. She has excellent communication skills and follows directions, feedback, recipes, etc well. She also took initiative to complete necessary care tasks before I thought to ask her to, always making sure both our daily tasks were completed before she left for the day, which I greatly appreciated as someone who deals with brain fog on a daily basis. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone with chronic illnesses and mobility needs, as well as less taxing care needs. Should we need respite care again, we will not hesitate to call Fortune to see if she is available.
