Hello! I'm a nanny in Tempe, Az. I've been living in the US for about seven years now and I came here after I took Early childhood education classes for 4 years in Brazil. I was an AuPair in California, living for 2 years with an amazing host family and taking care of their sweet little 2 months old baby. After I finished the program, I moved in with my husband that lives here in Az, and I've been a nanny ever since! I love working with kids - specially newborns, infants and toddlers. I've worked for around 10 families here in Az, all of them would be happy to talk to future families as references. I like working with gently parenting methods, with a lot of talking, respect and love. I do not feel comfortable working in an environment that has any kind of negative (psychological, physical or verbal) behavior towards children.

We were so fortunate to have Gabriela's care for our son from the time he was 5 months old until he was 21 months. She was with us during such a formative stretch of his early life, and we couldn't have asked for a better caregiver. She is incredibly dependable, always on time. She was also wonderfully flexible, which made such a difference for our family. One of the things we appreciated most was her calm, gentle presence. She has a quiet warmth about her that had a real effect on our son; he was noticeably more settled and at ease in her care. He absolutely adores her. Thanks in large part to her nurturing support, our son has been thriving and was fully ready to transition into daycare. We recommend her to any family looking for a caring, reliable nanny.
