I have been living in New York City for the past 25 years. I have worked for 15 years as a dance and drama teacher with children of all ages, including special needs kids, in both private and public schools in New York City. I am fluent in English, French and Romanian, and I have a background in theater and ballet. I've also worked as a babysitter for over 10 years, and I love sharing my hobbies such as dance, tennis, ice skating, arts & crafts, with the children I care for.

Gabriela took wonderful care of our 3-yr old. Even though our girl had been having a tough day and was feeling extra sensitive, she very quickly grew comfortable with Gabriela and there were no tears when we left. They had a wonderful evening and we felt great knowing our kiddo was in such good hands.

When searching for last minute care for our 2 year old, Gabriela reached out with her availability, was prompt, flexible and caring. She showed up on time with a lot of good questions and focused attention on our child. She is great with children, compassionate and engaged. Would hire her for our sitting needs again! 

Gabriela was amazing. We hired her to babysit the daughter of a family relative who was visiting from France and she instantly was able to gain her trust and make her feel comfortable. They had such a great time playing different artsy activities and dancing.

Gabriela is amazing with children! I know her for many years. She used to babysit my girls in Paris (yes, Gabriela speaks French also), they absolutely loved her. She is fun and very creative, very serious and competent. She is not your regular baby sitter, she is an entertainer for your kids!
