About Gabriella

Nurturing young minds is more than a job for me; it's a genuine passion. I began babysitting when I was 12, and have worked in various childcare roles ever since. I currently work as a middle school reading specialist, and coach our middle school soccer teams in the fall and spring, so I'm only available for weekend babysitting at the moment. I'm entering my 8th year in education overall. Prior to working as a reading specialist (I'm in my second year), I taught 7th grade math in Chicago for 5 years, and taught kindergarten in Chicago as well for 1 year. Through required annual trainings at my school, I am First Aid certified, CPR certified, Epi Pen certified, and have knowledge of asthma, diabetes, and seizure action plans.
