Hello! My name is Gabrielle. I have been working with children for more then five years and have been working as a full time nanny for over a year. Previously I worked as a life guard and swim lesson instructor. I recently graduated from Guilford College with a major in psychology and a focus on child psychology. Working with children is truly my biggest passion in life. I've had the joy of caring for children aged newborn-12. I have experience working with special needs children and multiple children at a time. I am CPR, AED, emergency medical care, and lifeguard certified. I am a non smoker, I have a car, and am comfortable with pets. I love encouraging the children I work with to develop social and emotional skills through taking them to library story times and parks. I can’t say enough good things about Gabby. She took care of my then 2 1/2 year old daughter for the summer and it was wonderful. Gabby is responsible, patient, warm, intuitive. She kept my daughter engaged with creative play, trips to children’s museum and playgrounds, reading, and plenty of playtime. My daughter had so much fun and loves Gabby! Gabby was always communicative, punctual, and thoughtful. Gabby built rapport with my daughter right away and quickly gained her trust. She was also great at redirecting and managing big toddler feelings. I’d hire Gabby again in a heartbeat.
