About Geeta

Geeta is an excellent caregiver. She is the caregiver you hope for when you need one. She cared for my husband for two years he suffered from dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and cancer Her years of experience showed. Geeta focused on maintaining my husband’s dignity and quality of life. She noticed subtle changes in mood, appetite or behavior. Let me know about them and did what needed to be done for my husband at those times. Geeta created a comfortable environment to reduce agitation when it occurred. She anticipated my husband‘s needs: she patiently talked to him through his forgetfulness and delusions. She played music he loved; she tailored his physical activity to meet his energy level; she set up efficient daily routines. She coaxed him with his favorite sweet treats; she took him outdoors to cheer him up; and she told him jokes to make him smile. She efficiently managed medication schedules, personal care and household chores while remaining flexible enough to adjust to daily changes she knew how to safely lift transfer and assist him with mobility without causing him discomfort or injury to herself. Geeta provided a calming presence. She is positive caring happy and respectful. My children and I are very grateful for her help.
