About Gemma

Hello! My name is Gemma and I have 10 years of childcare experience. I am a fun loving and easygoing person. I love to encourage kids to explore and use their imagination. I am available for pick ups/drop offs as well as evening outings or homework help. I grew up with many pets in my house, ranging from dogs and cats to geckos, fish, and frogs. I am passionate about animals and value the connection that people and pets share. I take care and walk dogs on a regular basis and I'm looking for more pet care opportunities. I have worked for several environmental, housing, and immigration nonprofits and I am between jobs at the moment so I have very open availability. I speak English and Spanish and I have my own car. I enjoy spending time outside, hiking, biking learning to surf, and playing basketball as well as traveling and reading.
