About Genna

Hey, I'm a 28-year-old who's passionate about working with kids--especially the ones with special needs! I spent a full year teaching in special education and loved creating custom plans for my students, managing challenging days, and building a classroom where everyone felt included and supported. Before that, I was a nanny and worked in daycare, so I've got a lot of experience caring for little kids, helping them learn through play, and keeping everything positive and fun no matter what comes up. Right now, I'm pursuing my Master's in Special Education to level up my skills and make an even bigger difference. But the traditional school system was wearing me out, so I'm taking a much-needed break and looking for more flexible roles--like private nannying for families with special needs kids, one-on-one tutoring, advocacy work (helping parents with IEPs), or early intervention.
