Gera is by far the best caregiver we have had for our daughter. She is incredibly kind, compassionate, and flexible, and did a wonderful job creating a safe environment for our daughter to explore the world (whether going on walks, eating new foods, etc.). Unlike many other nannies we interviewed, she has a posture of fully supporting Mom & Dad as the primary caregivers and being a partner with us - she has a way of bringing in her expertise while still being fully supportive of the choices we make in how to care for our child. I also appreciated her willingness to teach our daughter Spanish and emotional regulation (it would never have occurred to me to teach a 1-year-old to practice taking deep breaths when upset!). We are so grateful for the time we had with Gera and only wish it could have been longer! 

Gera brings an exceptional combination of professional acumen, supportive warmth, and best-in-class developmental support for children. We were fortunate enough to be matched to Gera for part-time 1-1 support with our toddler. She immediately built trust and rapport with our child and both of us parents. Our child really blossomed under Gera's care. We noticed that our child was happy, curious, and excited with Gera. We were extremely sad when geographical changes resulted in moving away because our child missed Gera's amazing care. Would hire again in a heartbeat! :)

Starting out as a new mother it was difficult to adjust to having a baby while managing household duties. With Gera there she gave me the confidence to do things for myself while providing a loving and safe environment for my child. 

Gera has been with our family for 2.5 years and I wish we could keep her forever but our daughter is starting preschool full time. She goes above and beyond her duties and we trust that our daughter is safe and cared for when she’s with her. Any family is lucky to have her. 

I can't say enough kind words about Gera. As a first time mom, I was so nervous to find the right care for our little boy but as soon as we met Gera our worries were gone. She is caring, kind, loving and compassionate. She was very baby led focused and always had the best interest for our son. She also spoke Spanish to him which helped make his transition into bilingual daycare much easier. On top of good childcare, she was a great communicator and always left our house clean at the end of the day. We will miss her and always be grateful that she made our first childcare situation easy.

My family is so lucky to have had Gera's help for the past 2 months caring for our infant. Gera is first and foremost honest and deeply caring. She acts with integrity and will always be thoughtful about what's best for your child. She is dependable, patient, kind and great at what she does. She is a great communicator and quick learner, and she asks about and delivers on what we as parents want. Like many first time parents, I imagine we can hover a bit but Gera navigates that so well and has earned our trust. Gera goes the extra mile to read up on child development and help us use our new play kit, she takes  notes in our app to help us understand our daughter's progress, she'll make sure to get our baby outside on a walk, and she is constantly careful about COVID. We'd love to keep working w/ her, but we're doing some extended travel and don't have the funds to retain her.

Gera is a truly wonderful nanny.  She is professional, flexible, loving, and kind, and has a great sense of humor. She has taken care of our son from age 8 months to 2.5 years, and she has been so helpful at every stage of our son's growth.  She is very genuine in her wish to support our individual family's values and parenting style.  She was dutiful and diligent with all our specific requests and happily adapted to our habits and schedules.

Gera is a professional and an excellent communicator! She is extremely responsive and always kept my husband and me up-to-date. She took excellent care of my daughter in a nanny share arrangement for nearly two years, starting from the time she was six months old to nearly 2.5 years old. During that time, Gera supported and guided us with several major milestones - transitioning from purees to solids, from crib to bed, and most recently, potty training. Lastly, Gera is super flexible and willing to come in early and/or stay late and was able to accommodate our ever-changing work-from-home routine with ease. She spoke Spanish with our daughter and kept her active with a lot of outdoor time, which we truly appreciated. We are so glad to have found Gera and would highly recommend her!

Gera is an absolutely wonderful nanny!  She took care of my daughter in a nanny share from the age of 3 months to 3 years.  She is completely trustworthy and dependable.  She has an open communication style and is non-defensive - she aims to work in line with the family's wishes, so she is open to making changes as needed.  Most importantly, Gera is kind, loving, and caring.  I 100% trust her to care for my child and look forward to having her provide care for baby #2!

Gera became a part of our family during the 2.5 years she was a part-time nanny for our son. She is extremely dependable, patient, loving, flexible, and kind, exactly what we wanted for our son from 4 months to 3 years old. With Gera's help, we have been able to maintain a bilingual environment (English/Spanish) for our daughter, which was important to us. Gera always creates a fun, active, creative environment for our daughter, and our daughter loves it when Gera is around.

It was very clear that Gera's goal was to provide an extension of the care you would provide for your child, and she was great at following through on rules/nap schedule that we outlined, and would send us pictures/updates of how the day was going. Whenever our daughter was in Gera's care, we knew our daughter was well cared for, safe, happy, active, learning, and getting 100% of Gera's attention. We are sad our family is relocating because of our jobs, because we would have wanted Gera to be part of our care team for years and years!

One thing that stands out for Geraldine is her professionalism. We met with her and were so impressed with her punctuality and the way that she was attentive towards our job and son's needs. She took care of him for us one afternoon and he had so much fun with her. I never once worried about him and she was great about staying in touch with us too, sending a cute picture of him while we were away. We would have LOVED to have Geraldine take care of our son, but we opted for a home day care facility. If we could have gone the route of a nanny we definitely would have chosen Geraldine.
