About Gianna

Hey there! I'm Gianna. I'm a toddler teacher and student. I've spent the last 1. 5 yrs growing with a wonderful cohort of infants, and am looking to step back into nannying. In the past 6 years, I've worked with children aged 3mo-9yrs, though the early years are my bread and butter. Along with nannying and sitting on the side, it's safe to say I know my way around a sensory bin! As a caregiver, my number one priority is safety. I am CPR/First Aid and Safe Sleep certified. Beyond physical safety, making sure the kids in my care feel welcome, respected, & heard is my mission - emotional safety and forming secure attachments are critical. I come from a RIE, Reggio-Emillia background so respectful caregiving is absolutely my method. I've also worked with children on the autism spectrum, with high support needs, and children who are nonverbal. I'm familiar with the need to go slow, accommodate, and work through big feelings with patience & compassion. Thanks for reading! Hope to talk soon
