About Gina

Hi there my name is Gina! I am a Navy Veteran and I am actively pursuing a degree in bachelors of science in animal science to work in the veterinary field! I have a huge passion for animals big and small! I grew up with guinea pigs, hamsters , and dogs. I also worked with horses on my grandmother's farm when I was younger! I also have 2 years of experience walking and sitting dogs. I currently have 3 cats, 2 chinchillas, and 1 dog of my own! In my free time I enjoy volunteering at the San Diego humane society! As a volunteer at the San Diego Humane Society, I help care for animals by walking dogs, cleaning enclosures, preparing enrichment activities, and making treats for small animals. I also assist staff with basic animal care tasks and help ensure each animal has a clean, comfortable environment. My goal is to make sure every animal and their owner can enjoy a happy, healthy life together.
