About Gretchen

My name is Gretchen, and I've been a preschool teacher for the past two years, and before that I worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor for six years. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, as well as trained in medication administration and food/allergy safety. I really enjoy keeping kids active and engaged, especially during the summer. I love planning outdoor games, creative activities, and outings so the kids are having fun. With my background in swimming, I'm also very comfortable supervising kids in the water. I'm a very hands-on nanny. I like to actively participate, play, and build connections with the kids rather than just supervise from the sidelines. I'm also happy to help with light household tasks like cleaning and organizing. I have strong behavior management skills from my teaching experience, and I'm confident in setting boundaries and following through with household rules while still creating a positive and fun environment.
