I have 10 years of experience caring for a stroke patient who had undergone a craniotomy and required full assistance. My responsibilities included taking and recording blood pressure, monitoring blood sugar levels using a glucose machine for Type 2 diabetes, and assisting with special medication routines as prescribed. I provided hands-on transfers from bed to wheelchair and to the bathroom, assisted with bed baths, personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, mobility support, safety supervision, and companionship.
