About Gwendolyn

I have extensive hands on experience with all types of clients including geriatric, memory care, disabilities, etc! In my current role as a Home Care CNA at A Place At Home (Encinitas, CA), I provide one-on-one support for elderly and disabled clients in their homes. My responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, medication reminders, and mobility support, as well as monitoring and reporting changes in client health to families and healthcare providers. I focus on creating a safe, clean, and emotionally supportive environment that promotes dignity and quality of life. Previously, I served as a Volunteer CNA at Riverside Rehabilitation Center, where I assisted nurses with repositioning, feeding, and toileting patients recovering from surgery, addiction, and chronic illness. I also provided companionship and emotional support, contributing to residents' overall mental well-being, and learned to manage care plans for patients with complex needs under supervision.
