About Gwendolyn

I am the former owner and operator of the SSC. When my twins were born, I decided to open the SSC in order to be a part of their everyday and provide a loving, educational and safe environment for other working parents. I have had the opportunity to serve more than 60 children during that time. Many of whom are still in contact with me. I now celebrate their college graduations, weddings and birth announcements. As a childcare provider it is my belief to care for children with unconditional regard. Plan educational activities, provide healthy meals, nurture, foster and provide a loving environment for children to explore, learn and grow. I was a full time nanny for four years in Phoenix, AZ and recently worked as a preschool assistant/lead teacher in Stillwater, MN. I have made many lifelong friends and connections through my work with children and their families. I am CPR, AED, & First Aid Certified, I have a current MN Fingerprint Clearance Card, as well as my MN Food Handlers card.

Gwen is amazing! Kept my 2yo twin boys engaged and excited about activities from the second she walked in the door. They didn't even look up to say goodbye to me, a very rare occurrence! She brought her own supplies to make play-doh with them, and they talked about it for days! I was almost exhausted hearing about all the activities they packed in before nap time. Gwen also has a very upbeat positive energy... and not just with children, even the people that work at our neighborhood coffee shop commented on how great she was the next time the boys and I stopped there. We are so excited about having Gwen spend time with boys again this weekend!
