About Hannah

Hi Care. com community! My name is Hannah and I recently graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in design. I spent my summer traveling, and now have returned home to the Chicago area. I'm looking for some babysitting/pet sitting gigs while I go through my full-time job search. I've been taking care of kids since I was a kid! I am the oldest grandchild on both sides of my family, so I've always looked after my younger sibling and cousins. I started working with kids in high school as a camp counselor, and have babysat on and off since then! My most extensive experience in childcare were the two summers I spent as a full-time counselor for girls ages 6-14. Through that program I was trained in first aid, CPR, and mental health first aid. Of course I mostly learned by doing! I was on the clock 24/7 and for part of each camp session, would take the girls on a camping trip, which as you can imagine, made me grow comfortable handling the craziest of situations.
