As an instructor with seven years of experience, I empower students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills for long-term success. I understand that a supportive and relaxed environment is key to opening minds. I vary my teaching strategies, such as visual aids and hands-on activities, and encourage open communication and regular parental check-ins to best support individual learning styles. I keep students motivated by celebrating small successes and creating records of their progress so they are aware when they are and aren't keeping up with the expectations. Communication builds trust, so I provide regular updates to parents and maintain an open dialogue to adapt my approach. The most rewarding aspect is witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and seeing their confidence grow. I hold a liberal arts and music performance degree, and I would love to help your child unlock their full potential.
