About Hayleigh

As a special education teacher with over 10 years of experience working in the public school system as well as a private special education school, I'm transitioning from the classroom to private tutoring to better balance my professional life with my new role as a mom. I take a whole-child approach, meeting each learner where they are and setting achievable goals that build confidence, skills, and lasting growth. I specialize in supporting students with diverse learning needs, including executive functioning, emotional regulation, and individualized academic instruction. In addition to tutoring, I'm available to attend IEP meetings as an advocate for families navigating the special education process and/or look over an IEP post meeting to break it down into a more digestible document for families to truly understand what their child's services and day to day looks like at school.
