About Heather

I have roughly 10 years of child care experience, with all different age ranges and from an occasional date night sitter to full on live in nanny position! I am very patient and understanding, with the goal of taking mishaps as learning opportunities! I aim to respect each families parenting styles and adhere to any rules and guidelines I am given. It is important to me to be able to treat and respect each child as individuals. I enjoy learning the way each child operates, what their learning styles are, as well as respecting their needs, desires, and boundaries. I love teaching new things, implementing ways to help develop children's curious and ever growing minds, and coming up with creative ways to make things fun when it comes to doing things that a child may not be too thrilled about, and encourage, as well as participate in, hands-on activities and play time!
