About Heather

I am a British born dual citizen (UK/USA) travel ready, with reliable transport. I am confident, calm, nurturing, firm, fun and fair with good boundaries I have 30 yrs plus of childcare experience in a variety of roles including Nanny/ family assistant and in child protection with UHNW/ celebrity clients. I consider it a privilege to work as part of the human scaffolding within a family to help children become the best versions of themselves in a supportive, kind and encouraging environment. I'm looking for a long term role and family fit is important. In the interim, I am available to help as a nanny/ house/ pet sit. I am active - like to ski, ride horses, mountain bike, surf, attend concerts, go to the theater and read. I have a criminal justice background serving as a Probation Officer and active long service as a fire fighter for the London Fire Brigade until my move to LA in 2020. My focus is safety awareness, communication, consistency and calmness.
