I am a retired Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I just moved to Chapel Hill and love it. I'm looking for part time work as a caregiver/companion for an elderly person who needs company and basic nursing care. I am empathetic and enjoy one on one interactions with patients. I am also experienced in Hospice Care and enjoy the psychological and emotional parts of the dying process. I am responsible and conscientious. I am available to help families identity medical and psychological needs and refer for appropriate services as needed. I can also be available for situations where help is needed with a short notice due to other caregivers not being available to cover their shifts.
