About Heather

For the past nine years, I have been joyfully dedicated to helping students unlock their full potential. With a graduate degree and as a certified teacher, I create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment. I am experienced with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). By actively listening and observing, I adapt my teaching methods to suit your child's individual learning style. I celebrate small successes, break down complex problems, and encourage curiosity to keep students motivated. Open communication is essential, and I provide regular updates to parents. My goal is to build confidence and foster a love for learning, not just memorization. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding aspect of being a tutor. I can tutor at your home, online, or at a local library, and I'm comfortable working around pets. I would love to work with you and your student!
