About Heather L

Hello. I grew up on a farm and my parents report I named animals before saying Mama or Dada. In College, I began volunteering in many capacities with the ASPCA. I've rescued, cared for and trained a wide variety of animals from farm/ranch through studio apt. types. Currently, I am owned by a pair of Brittany Spaniels and am a Foster Family Fail for a kitten. He dropped from a bird's nest and remains the most confused kitty of all. He seems to want birds as playmates not dinner. I've become a champion litter box scooper and finder of small toys. There is an old movie with the line, "fish are friends not food." I'm fish-friendly. We have a freshwater and saltwater tank. I'm familiar with reptile care and am not reticent at all in handling them. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. In my opinion, pets are family and I want you to feel beyond comfortable when choosing me.
