I've spent over a decade caring for children of all ages, starting with babysitting my two younger brothers who are 6 and 12 years younger than me. I've worked in a professional daycare for four years and later became a full-time nanny for a wonderful family in upstate New York for four years-we're still incredibly close. Although I currently work as an Assistant Project Manager, my true passion has always been childcare. I'm patient, creative, and attentive, and I love incorporating art, reading, and fun activities into each day. I have experience with infants through school-aged children and excellent long-term references who are happy to speak with you. Heather worked with our family helping take care of our two boys for 4 years. She was with us until our boys did not need child care any more. It is hard to put into words how truly special she is. Heather became part of our family and took care of our boys like they were her own. She is naturally patient, fun and caring - yet able to set clear expectations and structure that my boys needed! She has great intuition and would handle little things that would come up with them so beautifully. She went above and beyond her role that was expected of her by helping with little things around the house. She got to know me so well and knew what could be helpful without me ever having to ask. Literally she was so much more than a “ nanny “ to me and our family. The biggest compliment is that my boys adore her to this day. They think of her and bring up memories with her with such brightness and fondness! Even though she has moved and my boys outgrew needing a “ nanny”, Heather still checks in with them and visits us when she can. And when she does, we are all so excited to see her and feel so blessed she still wants to be part of their lives She will always be a huge part of our family and trust me you will want her to be part of yours! Any family would be lucky to have her.
