Hi! I have 12 years of experience as a nanny, and I spent 1 extremely rewarding year as a substitute paraeducator. My degree is in Media Arts and Animation, and my experience with art and my passion for cultivating creativity in children shows when I break out the arts & crafts. Every child under my care receives unconditional love as if they were my own. I understand that adaptability, along with constant learning and growth, are imperative in this role as no two children's needs are identical. I tailor the way I teach, nurture, and show love to each child. I've researched child development for more hours than I am willing to admit, and because of that, I incorporate music, dance, exercise, cooking, and baking as learning tools and ways to help their brains grow and develop. I interviewed like 20 nannies and one of them was thankfully Heather. She cared for my daughter from 5 months to 12 months old and would have continued if she did not need to move. When my dtr was 6 months old another little girl, 4 mo old began with Heather as we formed a “nannyshare”. Heather is meticulous, records feedings, naps, and BMs as requested. My daughter loved her, she did not want to leave when we would pick her up. My daughter had many food intolerances and Heather made sure to keep her safe from any foods she should not have. She helped her learn to use utensils, walk, and play. She never called in sick, showed up early every day, and provided fun toys for the girls when they were ready for changes. She collaborated with me to troubleshoot issues as they arose. We love her and hope she finds another family that will be blessed by her.
