Retired after 22 years as a civilian in law enforcement working with the public in Community Policing. Raised two sons, at 57, adopted my 2 and 4 yr old great nieces. They are now 18 and 20. I pride myself in providing attentive and engaging care for children aged 0-11 years with a special focus on babies. I hold a college degree and am certified in CPR and First Aid. My approach is patient, calm, and creative. I enjoy sparking imaginations through play and educational activities. I always follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules. I also communicate openly, using your preferred method, to keep you informed about your child's day. I'm comfortable caring for newborns up to elementary school. I have no issues with over night stays. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I strive to be a reliable partner in your child's development. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my enthusiasm and experience to your family. I prefer to care for your children in my home.
