About Helen

Hi! I've just relocated back to LA and am excited to continue doing what I love; supporting kids and helping families thrive. I have 9 years of experience working with children with autism and currently work as both a Special Education Assistant and Instructional Aide. My passion for this work started young. I grew up in a family that fostered and adopted children (I'm adopted as well!), so caring for kids has always been a big part of my life. My journey truly took shape when my nephew was diagnosed with autism at age four which inspired me to begin this career and keep growing in it. I've been helping families professionally since I was 19 years old, and I still love every minute of it. I'm patient, upbeat, and dedicated to creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where every child can shine. I'd love to be a positive, reliable addition to your family's team.
