About Hope

Hi! I'm Hope, a current Doctor of Physical Therapy Student at the University of Kansas Medical Center. I have a strong background in working with older adults through both healthcare and enrichment settings. Most recently, I worked at a nursing home as a Life Enrichment Associate, where I helped lead activities that encouraged social engagement and daily movement for senior residents. In addition, I have led walking sessions at Iowa State University for older adults with a fall risk, creating a welcoming and safe environment. I also have hands on patient care experiences as a Physical Therapy technician, where I assisted with mobility, transfers, and therapeutic exercises. My approach is supportive, attentive, and tailored to each person's needs. I'm dependable, CPR certified, and deeply passionate about helping others maintain independence and quality of life.
