About Ikjot

Hi, my name is Ikjot! I have a strong passion for working with children. Here's a little about me: I'm a UCSB graduate with a B. S. in Psychological & Brain Sciences + Applied Psychology minor. I plan on pursuing a masters' and PhD in child psychology/development. I have 3 years of professional experience working directly with kids ages 3 months to 5 yrs old at the UCSB Children's Center as a Teaching Assistant. I have 1+ year of professional babysitting experience here in SB, and a lifetime of babysitting siblings and cousins. I also work as a sub at SBUSD so I am more than comfortable taking care of any amount of children of any age. I am CPR and first-aid certified, and in the process of getting ECE-certification. I love animals so I can help with light pet care at no extra cost. I also can help run errands, light housekeeping, etc. I love taking the kids on walks and adventures around town. I have a safe car & clean driving record to take them to further activities.
