About Ireland

I have experience working with children from toddlers to school-aged kids. Primarily with children ages 3-6. I worked with pre-k and kindergarten for two years and had a blast! Some days I could be responsible for up to 27 children ranging from the ages of 3-6, then breaking up into smaller groups to work on math, writing, and phonics. I'd describe my personality as creative, responsible, and flexible. I like working with kids because it is the most rewarding job there is! Nothing beats watching a child grow into the person they are and knowing you helped them find themselves along the way. I started working with kids when I was in high school. I volunteered at the local elementary school and continued to substitute, intern, and then work there! In my spare time, I like to travel. Outside of the country I have been to Canada, Australia, Austria, Germany, and Iceland. My skills include positive reinforcement, redirection, and experience with special needs
