I am a teacher with more than 10 years of experience teaching and taking care of children from 0-12 years of age. My experience involves founding and running a kids learning center at a church in Venezuela. I have extensive experience orienting children in middle school, and I am fluent and fully literate in Spanish. I am also able to teach the language to children (speaking, reading & writing).

Irma has been caring for our 18 month old son for almost a year now and he’s has really flourished. He is treated like family and I know she takes wonderful care of him. In addition to her healthy meals, Irma provides a very stimulating environment for learning. Our son is taking up a storm and has already picked up several Spanish words!! I can’t recommend Irma enough!

I have worked with Irma for two years now and I can’t imagine my life without her. We hired Irma to watch our son, Misha, who was about 9 months old at the time in Nov 2021. She has been with us ever since, and it was one of the best decisions we ever made. Irma is truly amazing. She is such a natural caregiver and loves our son dearly, but she is also a trained teacher and provides such fantastic education. Misha is 2.5 now and knows all his shapes and colors, his ABCs, and can count from 1-10 (and he’s starting to get into the teens). Not only that, but he knows these things in English and Spanish. We asked Irma to speak Spanish to Misha exclusively and it’s amazing how fluent he is in both languages now. Irma also got Misha on a sleep schedule and eating routine (he eats everything now!) which was huge for us. Irma is always developing age-appropriate activities and working on milestones with Misha and she has made our lives so much easier. Irma is an amazing cook and makes only fresh healthy food for Misha (and for us!). She’s always so calm with him, never raising her voice or losing her temper. I truly can’t say enough good things about Irma. She’s become a part of our family and so has her family. They all show Misha so much love and I feel so fortunate to know them and entrust Misha in their care.
When I was laid off from my job last year we had to cut back on hours a bit and Irma was so flexible with us. She ended up bringing in another little girl who was Misha’s age for two days a week, and it worked out so well. Misha got added socialization and never once did I feel like he was losing out on attention from Irma. She creates little lesson plans for them and they play so nicely together. 
I cannot recommend Irma highly enough. I am available at any time to talk with other parents about our experience with her, and I mean it when I say she’ll be a part of our lives forever now. She has helped raise our son and he’s so much better for her influence (as are we). 

I can’t say enough nice things about Irma and her family. It’s hard to find someone you trust to take care of your child. She is absolutely wonderful with my daughter and I feel great comfort in knowing she will be well taken care of. Irma watches her, but also teaches her many things, and I love that she only talks to me daughter in Spanish. That was very important to me. 
I highly recommend Irma. 

We absolutely love Irma and so does our 8 month old son! We hired Irma as a date night babysitter a couple of months ago. She is very flexible and always there for us. She is very caring, and she is the sweetest person ever. She does a great job getting our baby to eat, and we can tell that our son really enjoys being there. Her home is absolutely immaculate! She is super clean! We also love that she teaches our son Spanish. We recommend Irma to anyone seeking a loving, clean, flexible babysitter or nanny. We would hire her all over again!

Irma cared for our one year old for nearly a year and we can't say enough about her. Our son was always excited to see Irma in the morning, and in the evening, he always came back happy, clean, and full!  Her educational background was a great help with our son as well-Irma had him learning Spanish in no time!

Practically, Irma is always on time, flexible, and works with us to ensure everyone is happy. We've never had any concerns while our son was with her.

Irma is a sweetheart!  She came to watch my 2 kids on a last minute request as backup care and both of my kids loved her!  My 4yo daughter asked me "when is my new friend coming back?" and my 1yo loved playing with her.  She is super attentive and did everything I needed while I was working from home.  I will definitely use her again!  She also cleaned up after the kids the whole time and the place was immaculate when she left for the day.  BONUS!!!

Irma has been great to work with! She cared for my 9 month daughter, E. She is reliable, trustworthy, and very loving. And, I love that she can teach my daughter Spanish! She is good with following the routine, feeding her, nap time, play time, etc. We are glad to have worked with her!
