About Isabelle

With over 30 years of teaching experience, I bring a deep commitment to education and student growth. I hold a Master's in Education and New Jersey certifications in elementary education, special education, and English as a Second Language. My expertise lies in literacy instruction, with extensive experience teaching reading and writing across diverse learning needs. In addition to my academic background, I am a certified yoga instructor and Social Emotional Learning facilitator, integrating mindfulness and emotional wellness into my teaching approach to support the whole child I'd describe my personality as patient, focused, and kind. I like tutoring because it is an opportunity to help students grow as learners. My focus is to provide academic support while also helping students develop strategies they can use throughout their academic career. My skills include comprehensive reading analysis and inquiry, writing structure and organization, and the creative writing process.
