About Ivy

Hi, I'm Ivy and I'm primarily a vocal music instructor. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in music from UCO last spring, and I am currently working towards earning my teachers certification. I have a passion for inspiring and motivating Oklahoma's youth and would love to provide that for your child through music! I have years of vocal training under my belt and so many tips from my experiences to share. My lessons consist of range building, pitch correction and repertoire development. I also provide my own keyboard for lessons if needed! I'd describe my personality as caring, gentle, and encouraging. One thing you should know is I prefer parents are present while instructing children. I know sometimes students can be shy but at the very least I would like a parent in the next room. Skills include practicing vocal runs, switching chest to head voice, and strengthening breath control.
