Hello! I am a full-time literacy teacher at Long-View Micro School. I've been teaching for over 10 years in both private and public schools, working with students in 2nd through 4th grade. Not only does working with children bring me great joy, but supporting their growth fuels my passion as an educator. Ever since the pandemic, I have been consistently tutoring 1-2 days a week during the school year. My current clients have moved onto high school so I am looking to take on a couple more clients. I specialize in teaching foundational reading skills, helping readers tackle complexity and grow their comprehension skills, handwriting instruction, and developing an awareness and enjoyment of the writing process.
