About Jacqi

I have been tutting on and off for over 10 years, starting in high school. I then became a Teaching Assistant for 3 years in college for the Biology program where I graded assignments, set up and cleaned up labs, assisted students during class assignments and tutored students outside of class. As a zookeeper, I also do a surprising amount of education. My day to day life includes talking to people of all ages and abilities about my work, the animals I adore, conservation efforts, and other various subject. Because of this, I am skilled at taking complex ideas and making them more digestible for the general public. I take this same approach to teaching students. I start by learning about them, how they best learn, and tailoring my teaching techniques to best fit the student.
