Learning alongside students is my passion. I strive to create an engaging and supportive learning environment. I actively listen to students, observe their interactions with new material, and vary my teaching strategies. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrate small successes. I empower students to develop critical thinking skills for long-term success. Communication is essential for understanding student needs and setting clear expectations. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I have some college experience and can help with English, Science, and Special Education at the elementary level. Comfortable with pets, I would love to help your student succeed!
