Greetings! I am a non-smoker & I love pets! I have +30 years experience working with varied needs and abilities. I am a Full-Service Caretaker/Companion - meals, home care, bathing/hygiene, home management, care management, colleague and companion. Most recently, I have had the privilege of being a Companion & Caretaker to a wonderful 90-year-old person with moderate dementia who is now transitioning into a Memory Care Facility (4 years). He followed a 9 year relationship as a Live-In with a bright and mentally active nonverbal young adult male with Cerebral Palsy, incontinent, seizure disorder, and Quadriplegia. My current employer has me managing the home, shopping, appointments, etc. I also encourage community/outings - I plan my day around different "free/low cost" events. When it comes to people at any stage or phase of life, what remains the same is the desire for respectful, dependable services. I look forward to learning about your particular goals and needs.

Jacques is a dream! My farther has dementia, and Jacques has served as my father’s caregiver - spending 40 - 300 hours/week side-by-side with my dad - for several years, and we could not be more thrilled. Jacques is warm, positive, light-hearted, trustworthy, and gentle with my dad. Jacques takes my dad on frequent excursions (e.g., symphony, museum, shopping, meals, healthcare appointments), and we know my dad is in great hands. When my dad is resistant (e.g., not wanting to put in his hearing aids, not wanting to leave), Jacques has a warm and upbeat personality and savvy skills to encourage and motivate my pops. Jacques is truly a member of our family, and we feel so fortunate to have Jacques in our lives.
