Hi! My name is Jaeda. I'm currently completing my doula training and will be taking my certification exam later this month to become a fully certified birth doula. I'm very passionate about supporting families and providing attentive, nurturing infant care. Before beginning my doula program, I worked as a nanny for one family for three years and another family for a year and a half. Prior to nannying, I was a preschool teacher, which gave me a strong foundation in early childhood development and caring for young children in a safe, supportive environment. I have extensive experience with newborns, infants, and young children, and I truly love helping families feel supported and confident during such important stages of life. I will be moving back to Castro Valley soon and am currently looking for a part-time or full-time position with a wonderful family. Jaeda has been the heart of our home for 3 years. As our live in nanny, she has loved our two girls (now 3 and 6) as her own. She is so dependable. In fact, she's the only person we really trust to watch our girls when we take an overnight trip away from home. Our 6 year old is on the spectrum-and can be very challenging. But Jaeda's patience and attention to care always helps regulate and bring out the best in our daughter. Jaeda has been such a gift to our home. She's a clear communicator and takes feedback and direction well. There are so many aspects of parenting that I wish I (dad) could do as well as Jaeda. We found her right here on Care-com, and hopefully you're now discovering her. Jaeda is the kind of person with many close friends because everyone wants to be around her calm presence and friendly laugh. She organized playdates, fieldtrips, crafts, meals, and so much more every single week.
