About Jahnya

Hi! My name is Jahnya, and I am a 23-year-old childcare provider with a strong background in child development, education, and behavioral support. I currently work as a special education teacher in Cobb County and am certified in both General Education and Special Education, with experience supporting students in grades 3-5. I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2024 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Throughout college, I worked in daycare settings caring for children from infancy through age five, and I also have experience working in a behavioral health hospital supporting adolescents and young adults ages 14-21. I am CPR certified and skilled in creating safe, structured, and supportive environments for children with diverse needs. I am patient, dependable, and nurturing, and I value building strong, trusting relationships with both children and families. I take pride in supporting children's growth academically, socially, and emotionally.
