About Jaida

Hi! I'm Jaida, offering tutoring in reading, writing, math, and social studies for students from elementary to college level. I'm patient, encouraging, and committed to helping students build confidence and succeed. I'm a Fisk University alumna and currently pursuing my master's at Belmont University. I value open communication with students, parents, and teachers, especially with parents actively involved in the learning process. I appreciate families who prioritize consistency and collaboration to support the student. I started tutoring nearly 10 years ago through my church's after-school program and was a Writing Fellow at Fisk University, helping with college-level writing. I also volunteer as a college application mentor at my former high school. Outside tutoring, I love cooking and trying new recipes my mom inspired my passion for food growing up.
