About Jaileen

Hi! My name is Jaileen! I have many years of experience working in education in NYC. I received my bachelors degree in childhood education and biology and have spent the past 10 years working in formal and informal child care settings with children ages 4 to 18 years old. My goal is to always create a safe and engaging educational environment for all of my students! I have worked traditionally as a private school teacher for science and math for grades K-12, as a pod teacher during the pandemic for grades K-4 and as a private tutor in elementary and high school math and science. I am currently working at a tech based non profit organization with a very flexible schedule and would love to find a family to work with consistently on afternoons, evenings or weekends!
