About Jake

Hello! My name is Jake and live in Northport, NY. I am kind, patient, and reliable. I recently graduated from the University of Delaware with a BA in Communication in May. I love traveling, singing, dancing, bike riding, yoga, movies, and reading. I strive to be a warm, attentive, and nurturing presence, creating a safe environment where children feel seen, heard, and valued. With a non-screen approach, I focus on meaningful connection, imaginative play, and hands-on experiences that support healthy development. I have over a decade of experience working with children from pre-k through middle school. I was a drama teacher at St. Paul's Vacation Bible School as well as Vice President of the Future Educator's Association at Northport High School. I am CPR trained and am willing to get an updated training if need be. I have a valid drivers license.
