I am a San Diego native, and received my undergraduate degree in child development from San Francisco State. I have been working with children since I was 16. Since then, I have done hotel babysitting and dog watching, private company tutoring as well as spent two years as an Instructional Aid at St. Therese Academy( a private catholic school in San Diego). For about two years after graduation I also managed a children program at a homeless shelter through the YWCA. It was there I realized my love for helping at the individual and small group level, solidifying my choice in school counseling.
