About Jamie

I am an English speaker who became conversational in Spanish after living in a Spanish-speaking country for several years. While I am not fully fluent, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and enjoy helping others build a strong foundation in Spanish. My approach is patient, supportive, and especially helpful for beginners who want to feel more confident with everyday communication. I offer tutoring for young children who are just being introduced to Spanish, as well as adults who want a practical start before moving on to advanced study. Together we'll focus on basic conversation, day-to-day vocabulary, verb conjugation, and gender agreement, along with useful phrases to help you feel at ease in real-life situations--like ordering food and drinks with confidence while traveling abroad.
