About Janeece

I am a substitute teacher with a Certificate in Early Childhood Education. I was a Garden Teacher for one year as a Foodcorps Service Member where I cultivated a cafeteria experience that steers students towards the healthiest options. I taught elementary-age students to grow/cook new foods, which directly influenced their change in healthier food preferences. I maintained a school garden In college I tutored students and provided support during summer school. I organized learning exercises to improve vocabulary and spelling. While volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club I developed and directed engaging physical activities with nutrition education messaging with a diverse crowd of children. My core values include: Community, health, nature, integrity, creativity and happiness, personal growth. I sell handmade jewelry at local farmers markets all over Colorado so I am unavailable during the weekends from May till end of year.
