About Janella

I have been babysitting/nannying since I was 12. I am the oldest of four and have grown up with the responsibility of taking care of my siblings, so I have had a lot of practice in dealing with the chaos and stress that can come with childcare. I have taken care of kids of all ages, and I have a calm and compassionate temperament and am able to handle conflict well. I graduated in 2022 from the UVM Psychology program. I then worked as a Family Support Specialist for children with developmental delays and disabilities. Now I am starting my PhD in school psychology and am looking to babysit during my free time, which is typically Tuesdays from 7am-1130 a.m. and anytime after 4pm, and Thursdays from 7am-3 p.m. (and often daytime, evenings and late nights on weekends). I feel confident in my abilities and feel that I can bring a lot of joy and fun to any family in need of a sitter! I would also love to be an on call/occasional sitter if your other sitters cancel.
