About Janet

I’d describe my personality as warm, outgoing, empathetic. I like working with kids because kids are joyful and always fully themselves. I’m looking for a job that is flexible, as I am a full-time public interest lawyer. I started working with kids when I was in high school. I taught piano lessons to 5-6-year-olds. I continued to work with kids as a volunteer art teacher when I was a college student at the University of Chicago and as a volunteer reading teacher when I first moved to New York! In my spare time, I like to read and go to museums. One thing you should know about me is that I have a cat named Louey--in case cat allergies are an issue! My skills include juggling multiple tasks, being attentive, and knowing how to read emotions.
